What Is IDM?

Internet Download Manager (IDM) is a tải về accelerator & file organizer that manages the tải về of many types of files from the Internet.

You only need this two things to implement my solution:

Your system needs lớn have the capability to lớn resume download, which means that if you fully stop downloading, the server should be able to support it so it can start it bachồng at the point where it was stopped.

The Step-by-Step

Part One

Go to lớn the IDM temporary file location, where IDM stores the tệp tin parts before completing the downloadLook for & select "Options" in the IDM Toolbar.Then, find and select the option lớn "save to" & search for "temporary directory" (see image above).Copy the address. For example: C:Users ixproAppDataRoamingIDMDwnlData

Side note: You should see a lot of files in IDM temporary file directory, which have sầu not completed the tải về through IDM.

Part Two

Find the folder of the corrupted file (the one that failed lớn download completely). For example, if you're downloading a file named Ironman3_fullHD, there should be a thư mục with a name very similar lớn the one that you're downloading.You can find the thư mục by searching for the tệp tin name và then opening it. Sorting the files by tệp tin kích thước or date may also help you lớn find the folder.

Part Three

Once you open the file, you'll see it's been divided inkhổng lồ different parts, usually between two and fifteen.Not all of these files are corrupted, and you will be able khổng lồ combine some of them.Minimize this window & start your tải về again.You should be able lớn see the IDM download progress bar indicate the combination of parts that are not corrupted. However, you still won't be able to lớn complete this because there are still corrupted tệp tin parts left.Close the download & maximize the IDM temporary directory.Now you should see that some parts are now combined & there are only two or three files. These are the ones that can't combine at the over because the tệp tin is corrupted.

Side note: The log file is not important since it is not a part of the download. You can delete it.

Part Four

Now you have sầu to lớn use the tệp tin splitter và joiner to remove the corrupted end from the tệp tin parts. I'm not going lớn explain much about how to use the tệp tin splitter and joiner because the software is usually very easy to use. You can always Google it!Open one file part with the software and split it so that one part contains 250 - 500 KB. For example, if your chosen tệp tin part is 10 MB, use the file splitter và joiner khổng lồ split it inkhổng lồ đôi mươi parts so that each one will be 500 KB. Don't forget khổng lồ delete the original tệp tin part. Now you have đôi mươi parts with name extensions like filename.001, filename .002, filename.003 <...> filename.020When you reach this point, delete the filename.020 (which is the corrupted end), and join the other 19 parts baông xã together again using the software. You can also use the software settings so that the other file parts are deleted after you combine them again.Do this for the remaining parts, also removing their corrupted end.Now, go baông xã to IDM & resume downloading và your tải về will finish perfectly.

Troubleshooting IDM Problems

If you're having trouble with IDM, make sure you have the lachạy thử version of the software in which some bugs may have sầu been fixed.Also, some applications like Internet security, antivirut, and firewall software can interfere with IDM. FAQ: Why Does IDM Fail lớn Resume Download?

In addition, some firewalls và antivirus softwares are not ready for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 và 8.1, & work incorrectly as a result.

Please try khổng lồ TEMPORARILY completely uninstall your firewall, antivirut, or Internet security application. Simply disabling it is not enough because some of these kinds of applications keep blocking access even if you turn them off. If your problem is solved after doing this, then that would indicate the application is the source of the problem.

If disabling your security application does not help, it's possible you have an application that functions like a firewall, antivirus, or security application that you vị not know about. Do You Need IDM?

hi, i'm facing some problem with the IDM, it's work but it just show one connection only when i download it, others was failed. So, it really slow when only one connection. it only have 1 is deceiving data, then the 2nd, 3rd và so forth is disconnet . Can i ask you something? When the Download bar reaches 99%, while i am playing some games. The Computer, Freeze. It force me lớn Shut it down manually. After rebooting. I try khổng lồ resume it. I once tried to lớn buy IDM. They refunded my money and deactivated myserial because I bought through a VPN to lớn protect my privacy. Screw IDM. They suông xã donkey balls. Try Jdownloader. My doubt is , sometimes the file has been completely downloaded, but broken inside. That means the video clip just stops in between the playbaông chồng. It happens for FLV videos mostly.
